Request an Appointment 

Center for Emotional Health offers In-Office Appointments, Virtual Appointments, and Phone Consultations. 

You can request to schedule an appointment for a convenient time during our regular business hours Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

CEH also offers after-hours Virtual Appointments and Phone Consultations: 

Monday | 5 PM - 9 PM

Tuesday | 5 PM - 9 PM

Wednesday | 5 PM - 9 PM

Thursday | 5 PM - 9 PM

Friday | 5 PM - 9 PM

Saturday | 9AM - 6PM

Sunday | 9 AM - 6 PM

Accepted Insurances and ​Payment options

At the Center for Emotional Health, we are able to accept most major insurances including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Medcost, Tricare,  and select Medicaid plans Alliance, Partners, Vaya, Healthy Blue, Amerihealth, Carolina Complete, WellCare, and NC Health Choice. Self-pay rates and sliding scale options are also available upon request.

Intake Appointment Process

Center for Emotional Health warmly welcomes all new patients at our facilities, whether they are in Charlotte or other locations in North Carolina. All therapists, nurses, and physician assistants within the practice are overseen by our supervising physician.

Along with completing your new patient paperwork, your new patient appointment (intake) will be completed by one of our licensed therapists or physician assistants. The new patient appointment is used to establish care by gathering history and discussing treatment options to develop an individualized treatment plan. 

Fill Out the Intake Form

Gaining an accurate and thorough assessment during the intake appointment is vitally important to the overall success of subsequent mental health diagnosis and treatment. As such, intake appointments are around 1.5 hours, so please plan accordingly.

We have provided the new patient intake form below for your convenience. Filling out this form in advance and bringing it with you to your initial appointment will definitely help speed up the intake process.
